Laura Ann Lessner Johannes
MCFARLAND - Laura Ann Lessner Johannes, age 63, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on June 18, 2023.
Laura was a dedicated, selfless, generous, caring and loving daughter, mother, grandmother, wife, and friend who always put everyone else's needs before her own. Nothing was more important to her than her family. Laura had a special affinity for the outdoors, especially her flowers, birds and bees.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Longfield; her children: Justin (Sara) Lessner, Krista (John) Jensen, John (Katie) Johannes, and Peter Johannes; her grandchildren: Ben, James, Elena, Addie and Piper; husband, Jim; brother, John; and sister, Joanne. Laura worked for many years for Madison law firms, in the Governor's Office, and for HyCite Corporation.
Laura would want us to express her appreciation to all those who have reached out with their support and comfort at this difficult time. God must have needed a very special, beautiful and talented angel to take her home so soon.
A memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later date.
