Marvin Fruth Obituary
April 13, 2025
MADISON - Marvin Joseph Fruth, a devoted husband, father, Marine Veteran, respected educator, and passionate outdoorsman, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, with Father Chad Droessler presiding. Visitation will take place at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday. After Mass, Marvin and Beatrice will be buried together at Highland Memory Gardens. A luncheon and celebration of Marvin's life will follow at The East Side Club, 3735 Monona Drive, Madison, where friends and family will gather to share memories, stories, and love.

Dr. Marvin Fruth was such a mentor and supporter of so many people and Educators. I started his Educational Administration Program at the University, but soon realized that my real love was working directly with the children. He was such a strong supporter of me! I will never ever forget him! What a great person! I am happy that he had a full, long life! Imagine how many individuals he touched in his lifetime! He was truly an extraordinary human being!
