Elvord, Mary Alice (Smith)
LAS VEGAS - Mary Alice (Smith) Elvord, 93, passed away to be with our Lord on Aug. 18, 2021. She was born in Madison, Wis., on Feb. 7, 1928, to Carl Elvord and Lula (Arms) Elvord. She graduated from Central High School. She married George Wallace, a.k.a. Eugene Smith.
She is survived by her children, Mary Georgene Smith (husband, Sammy Davis), Perry Lon Smith (wife, Theresa Rucker) and Sheri Lynn Smith (Ruben Delgado); grandchildren, Troy Yvonne Smith and Rayna Lea Smith (husband, Everett Harris); and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

I have wonderful memories of the Elvord family. They were our neighbors in Westport Wisconsin. I
was to young to remember them living next to us, but over the years the family remained friends and when my mom would be in the hospital, I stayed with Carl and Lula across the street when my dad visited her. Mary Alice and Mary Frances (my oldest sister were close friends) The last time I saw Mary Alice was in the early 60's, she spotted me in a store in Madison and we talked. What a wonderful family.
