Shelly Elvord Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 7, 2025.
Shelly Diane "Tutu" Elvord, 74, of Edgewater, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1951, in Madison, Wisconsin, to the late Clyde and Gwendolyn (Shellie) Elvord.
Shelly was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rebecca Nilles. She is survived by her brothers Paul Elvord and Michael Elvord; her beloved children Brandy Beehner, Kenan Delshay, Jadon Elvord, and Savannah (Nicholas) Kukis; her cherished grandchildren Josiah, Austin, Ethan, Cheyenne, Sarai, Isabella, Hannah, Leah, Arianah, Makayah, and Keller; and great-grandchildren Sarafina, Samir, Kenley, and Malakai. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and countless others who affectionately called her "Tutu."
In February of 1965, Shelly dedicated her life to her God, Jehovah, and remained a faithful and avid Bible student throughout her life. Her strong faith guided her steps and gave her the hope and comfort she treasured and enthusiastically shared with others.
Shelly lived a life full of curiosity and adventure. She had a love for travel and delighted in exploring the world, whether traveling internationally, a cross-country roadtrip or camping in the woods she was always ready to embrace a new journey. Her warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit touched everyone she met, leaving a legacy of faith, love, and laughter.
Her family would like to thank Dr John Shu of Orlando Florida and the Gentiva Hospice staff for their excellent care over the past two years, especially her aide Rose, whom Shelly grew to love dearly.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
