COUPEVILLE - Mitchell James Meffert, age 59, died suddenly in the hospital near his hometown of Coupeville, WA, on March 1, 2024.
Mitch was a graduate of Sun Prairie High School in Wisconsin. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Economics. Mitch enjoyed a career as a Flight Attendant for Northwest Airlines (now Delta) where he met his wife, Jennifer. They moved to Washington to start their family and eventually found their way to their current residence in Coupeville, where Mitch was a business owner of "I Can See Clearly Now" window, gutter and roof cleaning.
Mitch was a beloved son, husband, father and friend. He was a pillar in his community and touched the lives of countless individuals with his love for the Lord, compassionate heart and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. His warmth and generosity knew no bounds and his absence leaves a profound emptiness in our hearts.
He is survived by wife, Jennifer; son, Noah; and daughter, Kaela. He is also survived by mother, Rose Meffert (Sun Prairie, WI); father, James Meffert and stepmother, Linda (Excelsior, MN); and brother, Tim Meffert (Kris) (Jackson, WI).
