Patrick John O'Dell
April 9, 1939 - March 2, 2024
WAUNAKEE - Patrick John O'Dell, age 84, passed away at home on March 2, 2024.
He was born in Winona, MN, to Ralph and Wilbrene (Chalmbers) O'Dell on April 9, 1939. Patrick served in the Navy 1959 to 1963. He retired from Oscar Mayer after 34 years. He was an avid hunter, bowler, golfer. A lifetime member of Arena VFW 9336 and a member of American Legion 481. In May of 1980 he married Naiad Sawle and bought a tavern in Spring Green, WI.
He is survived by his wife Naiad; his children: Ralph (Kristine) California, Patrick John, Jr. (Mindy) Spring Green, Dawn Pittinger (Jeff) Black River Falls and Patrick Calkins, Neilsville.
He is further survived by his brother, Jim (Patty) Kansas; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters in-laws, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Private graveside rites to be held at a later date.

I worked with Pat for many years at OM and also bowled together in the OM Cubed League. He traveled on the Badger Honor Flight in October, 22. Always enjoyed our friendship. RIP old friend.
