Everett Clyde O’Dell, age 74, formerly of Burleson, Texas, and recently of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away on February 9, 2026.
Everett was born on August 25, 1951, in Tarrant County, Texas, to Frank and Geraldine (Belshe) O’Dell.
Everett worked in the oil field as a machinist. He will be remembered for his warm smile, his wittiness, his famous O’Dell laugh, and his kind presence. Most of all, Everett will be remembered for the love he had for his family—especially his sisters and brother. The bond he shared with them was truly special, and his loyalty and love will never be forgotten.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Geraldine O’Dell.
He is survived by his daughters, Jenny Countess and Brandi O’Dell; his sisters, Pauline Noonan (husband Michael), Delores McDonnell (husband Jack), Frankie Nave, and Loretta George; his brother, Jimmy O’Dell (spouse Nancy Dockrey); his grandsons, Blake Countess and Trenton Sears; along with numerous nieces and nephews, including his special nephew, Blain Nave, and his dear friend, Dee O’Dell.
Everett’s memory will live on through the many lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
