Dear Pam and Kaela, My sympathies with the passing of your mom and grandmother. She was an upbeat, positive and a very helpful member of the ADK- -Iota chapter (teacher´s sorority). I enjoyed many meetings with her over the years. Blessings to you and your families.

To all the Pickard Family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Phyllis and Wayne also. Please accept our sincere condolences to your etire Family. I had the honor of working with Phyllis for many years at Frank Allis school as we taught together. Wayne and our father Jack Hurst worked together at Gisolt Machine Company for many years and they knew each other. The last year Phyllis and I worked together we went on a faculty canoe trip down the Yahara river and they paired the two of us up on that paddle. She was all worried she would flip us over as she had never been in a canoe before. I helped get her comfortable and calm with canoeing. She and I will always remember that float and paddle down the river. We were the first one back to our site ! She was so proud just to make it there with out falling in the water. Lol We miss both of these two very fine folks. They are sorely missed by all that knew them. We are thankful to have know them both. Phyllis was a educational Goddess for being a excellent 2nd grade teacher to all our students for 38 years of service !! Rest in peace and Thank you ! Best wishes to your Family. Tc
