Dr. Richard Rohowetz

DODGEVILLE - Dr. Richard Rohowetz, age 77, of Dodgeville, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, of natural causes.
Richard was born on July 16, 1945, to Robert and Twila Rohowetz. He married Carla Szarafinski on December 26, 1970. Carla passed away on November 18, 2010. He ran a successful dental practice in Dodgeville until his retirement in 2015.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Carla; parents, Robert and Twila; and brother; Tom.
Richard is survived by his siblings: James (Lynn), Phil (Gail), Mark, Mary (Chris) Fitzsimons, Diane (Mike) Flora, Dave (Angie); his sister-in-law, Wanda; his sponsor child, Maite of Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Dodgeville, WI. Father Bill Van Wagner will officiate. Inurnment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, Richard had a kind and generous heart and therefore requested donations be made to the following organizations: St Joseph Endowment Fund or Unbound (unbound.org).
