Scott W. Bosak
May 24, 1961 - July 4, 2025
RACINE, WI - Scott W. Bosak, age 64, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday morning, July 4, 2025. Scott was born in Racine on May 24, 1961, son of the late Stephen and Beatrice (nee: Peck) Bosak.
He graduated from Wm. Horlick High School "Class of 1979" and attended classes at UW-Parkside. On September 2, 1995, Scott married the love of his life, Hope Zierten. They raised two children, Bradley and Brooke and shared thirty beautiful years together. Through the years, he was employed with Reliable Steel Rule Die Company, WRJN radio station (where he proudly hosted "The Glory Hour" on Sunday mornings, Tradio and other shows), Aramark, Tru-Line Lithographing, Carmex and lastly at Carthage College. He was a dedicated member of Faith Community Church where he served as custodian for twenty-six years and sound board operator for nearly forty years. Scott was also proud to say he served the City of Racine for thirty-eight years umpiring softball games. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed music, concerts, trivia, and going to games and cheering for the Packers, Brewers, Cubs, White Sox, Blackhawks, Bucks, Badgers and Admirals. Above all, Scott loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his family and his church.
Scott will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Hope; children, Bradley Bosak (Hailey Vaughn) and Brooke Bosak; brothers, Gary (Cheryl) Bosak and Gregg (Barb) Bosak; in-laws, Jill Fletcher, Scott (Mary) Zierten, Todd (Joan) Zierten, Dean (Lori) Zierten, Beth (Dennis) Franklin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Scott was also preceded in death by his brother, Geoff and his -in-laws, Lynn (Rex) Schaefer and Wayne Fletcher.
Funeral services will be held at Faith Community Church, 215 S. Newman Rd, Friday, July 11, 2025, 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Dino Galati officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4:00 p.m., until 6:00 p.m., and at the church Friday from 10:00 a.m., until time of service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Community Church have been suggested.
