Timothy Hawkinson Obituary
June 26, 1960 - June 7, 2025
Timothy A Hawkinson was born 6/26/1960 in Austin TX. His final day was 6/7/2025 at home in Chisago City MN. Tim was preceded in death by his father Ronald Hawkinson. Surviving Tim are his mother Ellen Hawkinson, brothers Jeff (Janet) and Peter (Chris), nephew Joshua, nieces Amanda and Elyse. Throughout his life Tim gained experiences and many friends. After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College, he entered The Peace Corps in Western Samoa. Tim may have been the first blonde person in the village hosting his group. Appreciation grew, later a baby was named after him. After returning to The States, he married Rhonda Rachuy; the couple later divorced. After shifting through several cities and managerial positions with Best Buy and Pamida, Tim settled in Madison WI and Kohl's. Getting tired of the grind, Tim started his own lawn care and landscaping business, appropriately name Lawns by Tim. The family would like to thank Tim's friends at Point Pleasant Heights for the Final Dignity Walk memorializing Tim. Final resting place will be Hillside Cemetery in Center City MN.

We initially met Tim as customers of his lawn care business nearly 20 years ago. Then we crossed paths at Kohl´s, and finally we discovered we had a mutual connection through a work colleague of mine. Tim was a such a kind and decent man. He will be missed.
