Barbara Ellen Shell

HEYBURN – Barbara Ellen Shell, an 85 year old, resident of Heyburn, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Heritage Assisted Living of Twin Falls.
Barbara was born to George Watson, Sr. and Lavena (Ames) Watson, March 13, 1938, in Pocatello, Idaho. Later in life she met the love of her life and married Wayne John Shell, Sr. of Burley, on March 31, 1956. Together, they had five children.
Barbara worked for the J.R. Simplot Company for 15 years. She loved fishing, hunting, camping, movies, video games, crafting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne John Shell, Sr., who died on January 15, 1998; and her daughter, Barbara Ellen Bradshaw, of Burley, who passed away on April 8, 2022.
She is survived by her children, Wayne J. Shell, Jr. (wife, Denise Shell ) of Logan, Utah, James T. Shell (wife, Sue Shell) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tina A. Snow (husband, Phillip Snow, Jr.) of Heyburn, and Tim J. Shell (wife, Minerva Shell) of Paul; 14 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 at Rasmussen-Wilson Funeral Home, located at 1350 E. 16th St., in Burley. Burial followed at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burley.
