Brett Dixon Obituary

Brett Theodore Dixon

May 23, 1964 - June 1, 2025

Brett Theodore Dixon, born on May 23, 1964, in Willow, Calif., passed away on June 1, 2025. He was a prominent figure in his community, passionately involved in both his career and local activities, including his role as a member of the Jerome Fair Board.

Brett was the owner of Snake River Tree Service, a business he established in 2013, which became well-known for its dedication to quality service and customer satisfaction. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to his work exemplified his strong will and unwavering determination.

A graduate of Fortuna High School in 1982, Brett furthered his education by completing several college credits from Butte Community College. His thirst for knowledge and personal growth carried through into his life experiences, further defining his character.

Brett was not only a dedicated professional but also a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Lynette Dixon, and their daughters, Bridget and Courtney Dixon. Brett's love for his family was evident in every aspect of his life. He had a unique ability to inspire them and those around him with his can-do attitude and zest for life. From hitchhiking from Twin Falls to Boise to squeezing up front at a concert with Bridget, where he managed to score a guitar pick, his adventurous spirit was contagious.

His dedication extended beyond familial ties; he would often go out of his way to help friends and even strangers, believing that a simple act of kindness could bring a smile to someone's face. One of the fondest memories for Courtney was when Brett picked her up right from school and took her straight to the mountains, where she ended up hunting the biggest bull elk on the last day of the season-a testament to his belief in perseverance and dedication.

Brett enjoyed a variety of hobbies that enriched his life. He was an avid coach of softball, a passionate hunter, and a lover of 80's music, particularly the band Van Halen. Fishing, skiing, and showcasing his beloved 1972 Dodge Challenger at car shows were also among his cherished pursuits.

Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Messersmith Building, Jerome County Fairgrounds, 205 N Fir St, Jerome, ID.
