David Leroy Patrick
Nov. 7, 1972 - Sept. 7, 2024
TWIN FALLS - With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for the life he lived, we announce the passing of David Leroy Patrick, who left this world on September 7, 2024, at Intermountain Medical Center in Utah, at the age of 51.
David was a man whose life was defined by love - love for his family, his friends, his community, and his work. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and service that will be felt for years to come.
David was the devoted and adoring husband of Joyia Patrick, the love of his life and his constant partner through every twist and turn. He was a proud father to four children: Dustin Patrick, Mason Patrick, Jaden Lovell (Kaylii), and Jayleen Lovell (Tyler), who will forever cherish the memories of their caring, thoughtful, and supportive dad. His heart overflowed with pride and joy for his four grandchildren: Brandon, Sterling, Jessie, and Evelyn, whom he absolutely adored. David is survived by his loving parents, Jim and Afton Patrick; his brother, Andy Patrick (Mandi); and two nieces. He now reunites with his beloved grandparents, Bill and Donna (Bulcher) Patrick, who welcomed him with open arms.
A man of principle and purpose, David was a Filer High School graduate and an Eagle Scout, both achievements that were reflections of his steadfast dedication to service. He had a tireless work ethic, and his heart was never too full or hands too busy to lend someone a helping hand. Whether serving as a board member for the Twin Falls Canal Company and the Farm Bureau Board or his years as a precinct committeeman, David's commitment to his community was unwavering.
David was more than just a good talker - he was a great listener and a friend to all. Whether it was chatting with a neighbor or striking up a conversation with a stranger, he made everyone feel valued and heard. His kind words and warm spirit brought light into the lives of everyone he met.
Farming wasn't just a career for David - it was his calling, his joy, and his way of life. You could often find him working his land, his loyal German Shepherds, Duke and Champ, by his side. To David, farming was more than a profession; it was a testament to the values he held dear - hard work, stewardship, and connection to the earth.
A celebration of David's incredible life will be held at Bethel Temple Apostolic Church, 929 Hankins Rd., Twin Falls, on Thursday, September 19, 2024. You may begin greeting family at 10:00 AM and services begin at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to come together in love and remembrance. Flowers and memorial gifts may be sent in his honor.
David, you leave behind a life lived with love, laughter, and generosity. You were a friend to all, a gentle and caring husband, a devoted father, and a shining example of how to live with Grace and kindness until we meet again.

i will miss David. He always had time to visit or help as a neighbor. Alway knew i could call him if there was anything i needed, I will miss seeing him working the fields and driving by in his truck with his dogs. Rest in peace. David! It has been wonderful watching you grow and change over the years.
