Emma Jean Patrick

Emma Jean Patrick, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, in Newnan, Georgia, at the age of 73. Born on August 21, 1952, in Forest Park, Georgia, she was the beloved daughter of the late Albert Joe and Lucille Black.

Emma dedicated many years of her life to her work as a production worker at Porex, where she was known for her diligence and dedication.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Ed Patrick, who stood by her side through life's journey. She leaves behind cherished memories with her daughters, Michelle and her husband David Nolan, and Melody and her husband Jake Shedd. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Andrew and Maddie Williford, Alex and Brantley Williford, and Conrad and Luanne Wilson, as well as her great-grandchildren, Archer and Mazie Williford. Emma is also survived by her dear brother, Joe Black, and his wife Dee.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Joe and Lucille Black and brothers, Doug Black and Roy Black.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory.

Emma Jean Patrick will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family. Her warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
