William Darrell Whitmire

William Whitmire, aged 65, passed away on January 23, 2026. Born on January 1, 1961, he dedicated his life to the field of Plumbing and enjoyed working for Plumbing Installation & Engineering. For over 45 years, he was a committed and proud member of the Plumber Pipefitters Local Union 72.

William had a passion for fishing, which brought him joy and serenity throughout his life. His love for the sport was well-known among family and friends, who often joined him on peaceful excursions by the water.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Darrell and Sandra Whitmire, his brother, Mark Whitmire, and his sister, Terri Whitmire. He leaves behind cherished memories with his surviving family: his sisters Gail (Ray) Potts and Karen (John) Dyer; his sister Deborah Whitmire; and his brother Timmy (Dawn) Whitmire. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

William's dedication to his craft, his love for his family, and his passion for fishing will be remembered by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but his spirit will endure in the hearts of those he touched.
