Larry dedicated his life to the open road as a truck driver, a profession he pursued with diligence and pride. Beyond his work, he was a passionate Civil War reenactor, finding joy and camaraderie in bringing history to life. He also loved his pet dogs throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Francis Whaley, Carolyn Vines, Betty Fitzgibbon, Jean Crowe, and Billy Ray Baity. Larry leaves behind his beloved daughter, Lynn Baggett, and her husband, James, along with many cherished nieces and nephews and dog, Fancy, who will remember him fondly.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Gardens. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory.
Larry will be remembered for his steadfast spirit and the warmth he brought to those around him. May he rest in peace.
