Harold Gray Baity, 79, passed away Sunday August 24, 2025. He was born January 16, 1946 in Yadkin County to the late Dewey Baity and Sarah Shore Baity. Harold was a loving father, husband and grandfather. He was a loyal printing press operator for Hanes Graphics for 35 years. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on and restoring old cars in his garage and watching Nascar with his wife Linda. He was preceded in death his wife Linda Kaye Baity and parents; stepdaughter Dana Conrad; grandson Braxton Childress sisters Ruby Shore, Ethel Jolly, Nellie Cranfill, Stella Hutchens, Nancy Eddleman; brothers John D. Baity, Luther “Gene” Baity. He is survived by his children Dean Baity, Gina Baity stepson, Larry “Tommy” McGee; grandchildren Amelia Baity, Aaron Lineback, Alisha Baity, Savannah Childress Chapman, Seth Childress, Adam Conrad, Thomas Conrad, Hunter Conrad, Caleb McGee, Joslyn McGee, Marihah Gowder, Nicholas Gowder, Noah Gowder; sister Frances Myers; and brother Charles Baity. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Saturday September 6, 2025 at Turners Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Scott Welch. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Baity family.
