Marlyn Baity Obituary
Marlyn was employed for 25 years with Auburn Memorial Hospital in pediatrics, maternity, and as a surgical nurse assistant; retiring in 2004.
She was an avid bird watcher and animal lover who enjoyed spending time gardening and boating with friends on Cayuga lake.
She loved mini-road trip adventures exploring the Finger Lakes.
Marlyn was a past member of the Cayuga Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary and acting Sunday School Superintendent at the Cayuga Methodist Church.
She is survived by children: Robin Wilde, Ronda Wilde, Tammy Shuler (Dennis), Tab Wilde, and Wendy Evey (Jason); seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and stepson, Jack Baity.
In addition to her parents, Marlyn was predeceased by her husband Jack Baity; her first husband Herman R. Wilde, the father of her children; sister Laura McDonald, and brother Norman Wilbur.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00am -12:00pm, with a service to immediately follow at 12:00pm all in White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Cayuga.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cayuga Fire Dept. or Aurelius Fire Dept.

Marlyn was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed our talks about birding , ect. She was a kind and caring nurse and she"ll be missed greatly!

Marilyn was always a pleasant and friendly person. I knew her all the years of growing up in Cayuga, and especially the later years at the Beacon Bay Marina where we all kept our boats. Many good conversations with her and Jack. Rest in peace, Marilyn.
