Kenneth Cheek Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Goodson Cheek, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. He was born on October 31, 1937 in Yadkin County to the late William Truman Cheek and Ollie Harris Cheek. Kenneth found pride in tending to his vegetable garden. He was an avid runner and was naturally athletic. He enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with his beloved wife, Gene. Kenneth was always finding the positives in any situation and he had a great personality that will be deeply missed by those who loved him most.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Cheek, Fred Cheek, and Terry Cheek. Kenneth is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Gene Shore Cheek; and his sisters, Claudia Wood and Ruth Hatfield.
