Dwayne Benson Gowen Sr.

Dwayne Benson Gowen, Sr., age 64, of Senoia, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born on May 25, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, he was the beloved son of the late Darrell B. Gowen and Betty Wallace Randall.

He served his country honorably in the Navy for five years, demonstrating a commitment to duty and service. Following his military service, Dwayne spent many years of his professional life in the body shop industry, most recently contributing his skills and expertise at One Twenty One Collision.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Suzie Gowen, who stood by his side throughout their journey together. Dwayne leaves behind a loving family, including his children: Dwayne Benson Gowen, Jr. and his wife Ashley; Ashley Bowlden and her husband Ashley; Brian Oliver Gowen and his wife Katelin Oliver; and Tyler Gowen and his fiancée Allie Kelley. He was a cherished grandfather to Wyatt Gowen, Kayla Gowen, JoLee Bowlden, Bentley Bowlden, Briar Bowlden, Brooks Oliver, Blakelyn Kelley, and Emerson Kelley.

Dwayne is also survived by his sisters: Tana Shackelton and her husband Don, Jennifer Royal McBrayer and her husband Joshua, and Angela Duarte and her husband Eric. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

The family will gather to honor Dwayne's life with funeral services on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Friends are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences one hour prior to the service at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory.

Dwayne's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
