Pamela Yvonne Lawson, 64, of Senoia, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Born on June 10, 1961, in Newnan, to James C. Thompson and the late Opal C. Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her son, Samuel Lawson.

A proud Christian, Pam was an active and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Haralson, where she found strength and community. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her through both triumphs and trials with unwavering grace

Pam's professional life was marked by her exceptional work ethic and dedication. She forged a path as a journeymen electrician with the local union #613, where she was known for her skill and commitment. In addition, her love for storytelling and the local culture led her to become a beloved tour guide for the Walking Dead tours, sharing her enthusiasm and knowledge with visitors from near and far.

An outdoor enthusiast at heart, Pam found solace and joy in the embrace of nature. Camping was not just a hobby for her, but a way of life that allowed her to connect with the world around her. She shared this passion with her family, imparting the importance of cherishing the simple moments and the beauty of the great outdoors.

Pam will be fondly remembered as a loving mother to her sons, James Caldwell (Chasidy Steves), Tristan Lawson, and Elijah Lawson; grandchildren, Cali Caldwell and Damian Blanton; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Belinda Wilson (Pete), Jim Thompson (Jamie), and Paige Poncela (Mike); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Haralson with Pastor Danny Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Hillcrest Chapel.
