Evelyn Rentmeister

1939 - 2025

Evelyn Tenney Iba Adams Rentmeister-passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

She was born on February 28, 1939, in San Diego, California.

In 1957, she married Richard Iba, and together they were blessed with four children. They were later divorced.

In 1970, Lynn married Jerold Earl Adams in Walnut Creek, California. Their union was later solemnized in the Oakland California LDS Temple. In 1971, they moved to Myrtle Creek, Oregon, and later welcomed their daughter, Jennifer.

Together, Jerry and Lynn owned and operated Adams Heating and Air in Jerome, Idaho.

Lynn was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served two senior missions in Oklahoma and Texas.

In 2015, Jerry passed away. On November 9, 2018, Lynn married Grant Rentmeister.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Grant Rentmeister, and his family; her sister, Gayle Tenney; and her brother, Steven Tenney (Kittie). She is also survived by her children: David (Tammi), Patty How did Jerry get such a long Seibold (Bruce), Scott (Pam), Robert (Jann), and Jennifer Bond. She will be deeply missed by her 24 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22nd, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1409 W 9800 S, South Jordan, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Jerome, Idaho Cemetery with a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. on September 27th.
