Gary Wesley Dugger
Jan. 5, 1954 – April 20, 2024
TWIN FALLS - Gary Wesley Dugger, a Twin Falls resident for 23 years passed away on April 20, 2024 in his home, with family by his side, after a short and unexpected illness.
Gary was born on January 5, 1954, in Honolulu, Hawaii where his father Doyle F. Dugger served in the Navy. His mother, Marjorie E. Rudolph Dugger was born and raised in the Twin Falls area. Gary grew up attending many schools throughout the U.S. as his father's career demanded. As a young man he lived and worked in New York City and California in marketing. He started The Rainbow Magic Tie Dye Company that manufactured and distributed Rainbow designed clothing at music festivals across the country. He enjoyed travelling to Jamaica and Thailand. He loved music and was an expert chess player. He studied natural healing at the Ayurvedic Institute with Dr. Vasant Lad in New Mexico. He worked as an Apple Macintosh computer professional in California where he was employed by several tech companies including Roxio in San Francisco.
In 2001 he moved from California to Twin Falls to help his parents as they aged. For several years he was a full-time caregiver for his mother.
In 2003 he started his own computer business Mac Specialist, LLC an Apple computer software and hardware repair service in the Magic Valley. For many years he generously spent endless hours helping numerous friends and clients with their computers. He had a brilliant mind and could do what very few could when it came to computer issues.
Gary was a lifelong student of the Science of Happiness and shared The Handbook of Higher Consciousness and the teachings of Ken Keyes, Jr. with others. He will be greatly missed by many!
Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his kitty, Scooter. He is survived by his brother, Mickey (Anne) Dugger of Honolulu, Hawaii, and his sister, Karen (James) Govier, of Silverton, Oregon.
An informal memorial celebration of Gary's life will be held at his home on May 7, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at his Home in Twin Falls. All friends and clients are welcome to stop by during these hours. (call 208-316-2270 for address).
