Norman Hansen Obituary

Norman and Elenore Hansen

Norman and Elenore Hansen left this life to join other family and friends on the other side on January 11, 2025 and February 22, 2025 respectively.

Norman Plant Hansen was born December 9, 1929 to Charles and Clara Plant Hansen. Evelyn Elenore Harrell Hansen was born August 3, 1930 to Lee and Evelyn Dougall Densley. She was later adopted by the only father that she really knew- Dick Harrell.

Norman and Elenore were married April 26, 1948. They made their home in several different places, including Boise, Homedale, Malta, Stanrod and Burley.

They are survived by Elenore's sister, Susan (Phil) Choules. Norman and Elenore's children: Del (Cindy) Hansen, Sylvia Bahem, Brian Hansen, Murray (Raquel) Hansen, Lori (Howard) Maupin, Clark Hansen, Darla Hansen; 46 grandchildren and 101 great-grandchildren.

They were preceded in death by their parents; Norman's siblings; Elenore's brother, Dave Harrell; a daughter, Alicia Ward; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Hansen; a grandson, Ben Maupin and Ben's wife, Kapri; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Reed, Kayden Maupin, Ryder Maupin.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 15, 2025 at 11 a.m. at the Star LDS building, 96 South 200 W. Burley, Idaho.

The family would like to thank Jerry and Bev Shaw and all of the staff and nurses at Parke View and Countryside Care for the kind and loving care that they provided for Norman and Elenore. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice in their name. Interment will be held at a later date in Central Idaho, with arrangements by Morrison Funeral Home.
