Randee Martin Obituary
Randee Lee Martin
It is with great sadness and loving remembrance, we share the passing of Randee Lee Martin, a devoted husband, father, brother, and Papa who left us on September 9, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Randee graduated from Minico High School in 1973. He attended Concordia Lutheran College in Portland, Ore. where he played baseball and basketball. Randee completed his degree in Soil Science at the University of Idaho in 1977.
Randee had a lifelong passion for farming. He found joy and purpose in working the fields, tending to his cattle, and embracing the simple, honest beauty of life on the farm. His hands were weathered, his back strong, and his heart full of love for the work he did and the family he did it for.
He was a devoted husband to Connie with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. Together, they built a home filled with faith, hard work, and the values that defined his life.
As a father, Randee led with quiet strength, teaching his children the value of integrity, perseverance, and kindness. But it was in his role as "Papa" that his heart truly shone. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them - whether it was giving tractor rides, four-wheeler rides, sharing stories, or simply watching them play sports…. Papa lived his life with heart and always showed up for his family.
He was a tried-and-true Boise State fan and season ticket holder for basketball and football for the last 22 years. Their children knew to plan family gatherings and vacations around the BSU football schedule because Randee and Connie would be in their seats come game day. He was also an avid music fan, and you could often hear the golden oldies blasting from the tractor on a hot summer day.
Randee was a man of few words but deep wisdom. His legacy will live on in the land he loved the family he raised, and the countless lives he touched with his humility, work ethic, and unwavering love.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his children, Jacob Martin (Erin), Whitney Beall (Mike) Lucas Bloxham (Theresa), Cortney Whitaker (Jed); his treasured grandchildren, Asher, Jaxon, Andrew, Zachary, Maxwell, Dominique, Olivia, Jackson, Luke, Finn, and Henry; his brother, Doug Martin (Crystal); sister, Melody Wysong (Earl); and many nieces, nephews and friends who will forever hold his memory close.
He was preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Betty Martin; sister, Brenda Martin Williams; and son-in-law, Kevin Konz.
A celebration of Randee's life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, September 15, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rupert. The family will greet friends and family from 10:30 to 11 prior to services. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Trinity Lutheran Preschool or the Minico High School Ag. Department.
He was a farmer through and through - grounded, generous, and guided by love. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He wanted all to know "I have had a blessed life and wish it had been longer, but I am grateful for the life I have had and as a Christian I have no fear of death and look forward to the life everlasting." Arrangements are under the direction of Joel Heward Hansen Mortuary.
