Andrew Cerny Obituary

Andrew “Mike” Cerny, age 76 of Warren passed away on September 14, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1948, to the late Andrew and Theda Miller Cerny.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a lifelong resident of Trumbull County who graduated from Champion High School with the Class of 1966.

He was a member of the NRA, Trumbull County Rod and Gun Club, and the Children of the Pearl Harbor Survivors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors, and watching superhero movies with his family. He worked as a mold setter for Packard Electric until his retirement in 1999.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Ruble Cerny; children, Melissa Eyer and Donna (David) Latva; grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, and Delaney; great grandchildren, Justice and Marley; siblings, Loyd (Denise) Cerny, Jim (Sue) Cerny, Edna (Bob) Brown, and John (Cheryl) Cerny.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son-in-law, Todd Eyer.

Calling hours will be held 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel 164 N. High St. Cortland, OH 44410 with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM. Online condolences can be made at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
