Andrew Thomas Lachowski

Andrew "Andy" Thomas Lachowski, 68, of Warren, OH, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren following an extended illness. He was born July 22, 1955, in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Thomas and Catherine (Rothermel) Lachowski. Andy was employed in the auto parts industry at United Auto Parts, Advantage Auto Parts, and Automotive Carquest from 1973 to his retirement in 2013. He graduated from Howland High School and New Castle School of Trades. He enjoyed working on anything with a motor and loved going to the Mid America Truck Show. Andy was especially fond of movies, animals, all Cleveland sports teams, all types of racing, and Ford products. Andy leaves behind his sister, Jean (Dale Pinko) Putnam of Warren, brother, Walter (Dee Dee) Lachowski of Warren, brother, Joseph (Lisa) Lachowski of Niles, sister, Joyce Lachowski of Cleveland, several loved nieces, and nephews along with a host of treasured family and friends. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents. Great thanks are extended to all of Andy's doctors and nursing staff at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren for offering such great care and compassion. As per family request, no funeral or memorial services will be held. Donations can be made in Andy's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Animal Welfare League of Warren as an extension of his spirit. Andy will be remembered as a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul-an all-around great "dude." Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
