Anna Zrile Obituary

Anka "Anna" K. Zrile, 92, formerly of West Middlesex, passed away Sunday evening, August 24, 2025, in Quality Life Services, Mercer. Mrs. Zrile was born on July 14, 1933, in Severic, Croatia, a daughter of the late Josip and Anka Bukarica. A dedicated homemaker, Anna was a member of St. Anthony's Church, Sharon. She was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, Lodge 126; Croatian-American Civic Club, Farrell; and the former Croatian Catholic Union. In addition to attending Croatian events, Anna enjoyed gardening and cooking. Her husband, Marko "Mike" Zrile, whom she married on September 6, 1958, passed away on July 15, 1989. She is survived by three sons, Marko Zrile and his wife, Esther, of Mercer, Kris Zrile, of West Middlesex, and John Zrile and his wife, Roxanne, of Canfield, OH; five grandchildren, Anna, Helena, Michael, Amanda and Martina Zrile; a brother, Berislav Bukarica, of Severic, Croatia; and many nieces and nephews in Croatia. In addition to her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by an infant son, Ivica Zrile; and three siblings. All services are private.
