Hello, I wish to send my condolences to the family of Anne Murphy. I did not know her, but wish I had. I was reading the Obituaries this morning and happened to catch the words Barrow -in-Furness. My grandmother was from Barrow, and I have visited there twice to meet my family that live there.
Ancestry has been my passion and my cousin Rita Jackson, and I have kept in touch. They too had lived through the War of 39, as they called it.
I guess seeing the town and never expecting to find someone that lived in Barrow, just made me write to you. Sincerely, Pam Schaak of Austintown.
