Betty Sabino Obituary

Betty J. Sabino, 90, of Sharon, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in St. Paul's Senior Living Community, Greenville, PA. Mrs. Sabino was born on January 10, 1935, in Greenville, a daughter of the late Allen G. and Frances G. (Simpson) Diefenderfer. She was a 1952 graduate of the former Penn High School, Greenville. A homemaker, she was employed for over 20 years at Golden Dawn Foods, Farrell, where she was a baker and deli clerk. Prior to marriage, she was a secretary at the former Steel Car, Greenville. Betty was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon. She took great pride in caring for her husband and family, always making sure they were doing well and had everything they needed. Earlier in life, she enjoyed bowling in a league. Her husband, Samuel Dominic Sabino, whom she married on July 10, 1954, passed away on May 4, 2010. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Teague and her husband, Mark; and Lisa Siege and her significant other, Wayne McCullough, all of Sharpsville; a son, Marc Sabino, of Farrell; and four grandchildren, Richard and Elizabeth Teague; and Carly and Tommy Siege. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Davis; and a brother, Allen Diefenderfer. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to St. Paul Homes, 339 East Jamestown Rd., Greenville, PA 16125. Per Betty's wishes, all services are private.
