Brandi Stafford Obituary

Brandi Nicole Stafford, known affectionately as Brandi or Bee to all who knew her, was a beacon of joy and laughter. Born on February 6, 1983, in Ravenna, Ohio, Brandi's spirit was vibrant and passionate. Her journey on this earth came to an unexpected close on June 27, 2025, at her home in Rootstown, Ohio. Brandi was the cherished daughter of Lisa Persino (Jim) and Donald Stafford, who preceded her in death. Her stepfather, Timothy Sears (Liza), also played a significant role in her life. Brandi's role as a mother was the one she held dearest. She was the loving mother of Dustin Grimm and Brianna Heard. Her heart had a special place for her furry companions, her dog, Punkie and cat, Gizzy. She was the sister who always brought laughter to Stephanie Matoka (Nik), Dawn Stafford, L.J. Sears, and Krystal Louk. Brandi's playful spirit lives on in the cherished memories of her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and extended family members who were fortunate to share in her adventurous life. Brandi's educational journey saw her graduate from Avonworth High School before she polished her skills at the Beauty Academy in Pennsylvania. Her professional life was marked by her role as a loss prevention representative at Marc's store in Ravenna, Ohio, where she not only protected assets, but also nurtured friendships and brightened the days of her colleagues. A woman of Christian faith, Brandi carried her beliefs not as a burden but as a source of endless strength and comfort. Brandi found peace in the tranquility of her garden, the melody of music, and the thrill of a well-hooked fish. Camping under the stars or finding that perfect deal while shopping, she embraced life's simple pleasures with the same enthusiasm she shared with her children. The words adventurous, spirited, and funny only begin to sketch the outline of who Brandi was. Her life was a testament to the power of laughter, the joy of exploration, and the strength of spirit. She had a knack for turning the mundane into a time filled with laughter and spontaneity. As we bid farewell to Brandi, we do so with the knowledge that her story does not end here. Her legacy will continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched. A private service will be held at a later date with immediate family only. In honor of Brandi's memory, the family asks that you consider donating to a local animal shelter. Brandi and I have become so close while she worked at Marc's. We've had conversations on the phone when she called me. She was a dear friend of mine with a heart of gold. I'm still in disbelief that she is gone. I'm praying for you all. Keep shining bright Brandi and watch over your family and friends. I love you and miss you so much. Until we meet again.
