Charles VanFosson Obituary

NEW SPRINGFIELD Charles "Chuck" VanFosson, 62, passed away on Friday November 29, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 25, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of James and Mary Frances Hyland VanFosson. Chuck, a graduate of Springfield Local High School, worked in customer service at AT & T for 11 years. He was an active member in the Odd Fellows and Rebekah IOOF Lodges in Canfield. He was the first male President of the Ohio Rebekah Assembly. He was a big Christmas, Grinch and Hallmark movie fan, where him and his wife would sit and watch together for hours. Chuck also enjoyed SpongeBob and bird watching. Most of all he was a huge family man. He leaves behind the love of his life Sandy of 24 years; his children, Keri (Jeremy), Erin (Dean) and Mark; his siblings, Peg (Sahli), Donna and Jim; two grandchildren, Tucker and Silas and many nieces and nephews. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ann. Family and friends may call on Wednesday December 4, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kelley-Cummins Funeral Home.
