Christina Natal Obituary

Christina Natal (Kowardy), 56, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away in her sleep on August 29, 2025. Born on April 13, 1969 in Youngstown, Ohio. Christina was a strong, independent, and, charismatic woman who feared nothing and no one, not even death itself. Christina was often noticed for her brash personality, but known to those closest to her for a kind loving heart. Helping anyone in need and not expecting anything in return. Christina found joy in listening to music and spending time with her children and grandchildren. The holidays and family dinners were her favorite time of the year, especially if she had all her "babies" together. Christina often mentioned that her sole purpose in life was to be there to support and care for all her babies. Christina is survived by her children, German (Cassandra) Natal, Amanda (Dave) McKenzie, and Ramon (Patricia) Natal, and four grandchildren, Rion, Gabby, Isaac, and Lilly. She also leaves behind her father, Anthony Kowardy, and brother and sister, Rick Kowardy and Beth Vaughn. A private family service will be held, where she will be laid to rest, with her mother and best friend, Sandra Kowardy. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Akron Children's Hospital NICU, Pittsburgh UPMC, or CureJM (CureJM.org).
