Cliffton Scott Obituary

Cliffton Dione Scott, 45, departed this life on January 25, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Mercy Health Care in Youngstown, surrounded by family. Cliffton was born on April 20, 1979 to Karen Scott and Keith Sir Jackson. He graduated from Warren G. Harding High School in 1998. He married DeAnna in May 2022 and had worked in construction labor. He was active in Labor Union 935. He also loved the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoyed playing Call of Duty War Zone and enjoyed time with his kids. Cliffton was also known for always having a kind word to say, a personality that could light up the world and his smile could outshine the sun. He was a comedian that could have you laughing at his jokes for years. He was very smart, loved building things, and he was caring and loving. Cliffton leaves to cherish his precious memories, his parents, Karen and Keith, his lovely wife DeAnna and his 7 daughters; Shardenay Scott, Amya Ford, Desiree Scott, Loriah Brown, Trinity, Kandace and Skylar Gmucs and his son Cliffton Scott Jr., 2 brothers; Cecil Scott and Marcel Honzu, and a God-Sister Demetera Dean and 4 grandchildren, JeRiah, Michael, Journey, and King. Cliffton will never be forgotten and will be truly missed, but he will still live on through all of us. Preceding him in death is his brother, Keith E. Scott Jr., his grandparents, his 3 aunts, 3 uncles, 5 cousins, and his mother-in-law. Family and friends may call from 11am to 12pm at WM Nicholas Funeral Home, with a service to follow.
