Daniel Cleavenger Obituary

Daniel Curtis Cleavenger, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, in Warren, Ohio. He was born April 3, 1966, in Chattahoochee, Georgia, a son of the late David E. Cleavenger I. and Nellie (Hebb) Cleavenger. He was a graduate of Maplewood Joint Vocational School, class of 1984. Danny made his career working with his best friend, Danny Battaglia at the Battaglia Greenhouses in Kent, Ohio. Beloved child of God, son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend everyone loved Danny! All who knew him - loved him. He loved his family, friends, and his dog (Dr. George Zuess) dearly. He was best known for his love of fishing, baseball (Guardians were his favorite), cooking/baking, reading (favorite author: Janet Evanovich), crossword puzzles and fixing things. He was always helping others and loved joking around and making everyone laugh. He was one of the most kind-hearted, loving, and giving people anyone would know. He freely shared his love of and his faith in his Savior. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Renee Stevens of Akron, OH; son, Nathanial Gage (Kate) Cleavenger of Barnesville, OH; his siblings, Paula Putnam of Warren, OH, Donald (Carol) of Ravenna, OH, Douglas Cleavenger of Coshocton, OH, Deric Cleavenger of Marion, OH and Nona (Richard) Hose of Ravenna, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, David E. Cleavenger I.; his mother, Nellie M. Hebb Cleavenger; his sister, Vicki L. Thomas; and his brothers, David E. Cleavenger II. and Darin J. Cleavenger. There will be a memorial to honor his life in July. More detailed information will be provided by the family at a later date.
