Daniel DeGenova Obituary

Daniel DeGenova, 70, of Liberty Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Daniel was born October 30, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son to George and Helen (Noplis) DeGenova.

He was a 1971 graduate of Liberty High School.

Daniel had worked as a millwright electrician for Youngstown Sheet & Tube and would retire from W.T.Pettit and Sons in 2016.

He enjoyed playing golf, watching his favorite TV shows including Law and Order and CSI, and was a pet lover. Daniel was an avid Cleveland sports fan and enjoyed the music of Bob Dylan.

Daniel leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Thomas DeGenova (Toni) of Youngstown; stepdaughter, Christina Poe of Liberty Twp.; grandchildren, Abigail and Logan Schuster; niece, Gina DeGenova; and nephew, Tony Patrone (Paula), great nieces Nicole Patrone, Marisa Patrone, Madison Saffels and great-nephew Anthony Patrone

Along with his parents Daniel is preceded in death by his lifelong companion, Frances Pettit-Poe; brother, Robert DeGenova; and sister, Roseann DeGenova.

In accordance with Daniels wishes there will be no services.

In lieu of Flowers, donations in his name can be made to Angels for Animals, Inc. 4750 State Route 165 Canfield, Ohio 44406
