Darrell Wayne Wiggins

Darrell Wayne Wiggins passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Rebecca Henderson Wiggins; his parents, Clint and Alma Wiggins and his brother, Gene Wiggins and sister-in-law, Jane.

He is survived by his children, Connie Wiggins Nall (Paul Goens), Sylvia Wiggins Crawford (Hill), Shannon Wiggins (Sandy) and Melanie Wiggins Hamrac (Lee); his grandchildren, Amber Cournoyer (Dan), Tanner Nall (Tanna), Hill Crawford, Hank Wiggins, Brad Seay (Amber), Jameson Holmes, Maggie Holmes, Santana Hamrac Harden (Tanner) and Brady Hamrac (Avery); his great grandchildren, Ian Nall, Skylar Nall, Bryant Seay and Jackson Seay; his brother, Hugh Wiggins (Jeanette); and brothers-in-law, Fred Henderson (Jeanette) and Phillip Henderson (JoAnn) and sister-in-law, Judith Bryant (Craig).

Darrell was a member of Carolina Baptist Church. His passion was his family and roping. He was a competition team roper until he was 79 years old and was highly respected in the roping community. He had a love of farming and an undeniable work ethic, which he instilled in his children. He lived a life of humble honesty and taught by example. His wry sense of humor was subtle and unexpected.

His children held him in the highest regard and with the greatest respect – he will be missed.

Visitation will be at Carolina Baptist Church, Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 a.m. with services following at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carolina Baptist Church Building Fund.

Pallbearers will be Russell Wiggins, Jack Wiggins, Caleb Fleming, Lee Hamrac, Brady Hamrac, Tanner Nall, Steve Lawson and Hill Crawford.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bryant Seay and Jackson Seay.
