Dorothy Louise Allcorn

Dorothy Louise Allcorn, 92, of Sebring passed away on April 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born March 23,1932 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Wilbert and Edna (Creighton) Kriner. She was a lifelong member of the SandHi Club, Calligraphers Alliance, Alliance Senior Center, supported the Sebring Concert Series and fireworks, was a founding member of the Sebring Golf Cart Club and a 50 year member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Dorothy enjoyed tinkering in her garage, mowing the yard, painting, decorating for the holidays, attending events in Sebring and spending time with family and friends. Dorothy is survived by her son Charles Neil (Priscilla) Allcorn of Sebring, daughter Nancy Elaine (Brad) Whinnery of Beloit and daughter-in-law Velda Allcorn of Gainesville, Georgia; seven grandchildren Megan (Adam) French, Mariah Allcorn, Samantha Allcorn, Camille (Michael) Anderson, Andrew Allcorn, Rachel Whinnery and Katie Whinnery and great grandson Parker French. She is also survived by her sister Corrine Fisher. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl E. Allcorn, son Rodney Keith Allcorn, brother Ernest Kiner and sister Jane Cambell. Funeral services will be held at Gednetz-Ruzek-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11AM with Rev. Susan Curtis officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Fairmount Memorial Park.
