Eileen Zagger Obituary

Eileen R. Zagger passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Eileen leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Though small in stature, she was mighty in spirit and spent her working years as a dedicated housekeeper. From her childhood days, Eileen was captivated by horses, a passion that was lovingly rekindled when her granddaughter began riding. Watching her granddaughter ride was one of her most treasured activities. Eileen also enjoyed visiting local garage sales and spending time at casinos, where she delighted in games of chance. Above all, she loved her family with all her heart. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Kenneth L. Zagger; her daughter Lee Ann Hougelman and her husband David; her son Kenneth Zagger, Jr. and his wife April; and her grandchildren Madison Hougelman, Tyler Nelson, and Kyla Nelson. She is also survived by her sister Dolores Carroll and brother Richard Antus. Eileen was preceded in death by her father, Micheal Antus; her mother, Katherine (Klein) Antus; five siblings, Joann Miller, Jane Crissman, Pat Dzurinda, Marlene Sherman, and Tyrone Antus; and her most beloved dog, Frank. In accordance with Eileen's wishes, a private service will be held for immediate family.

You were one of a kind and I for one will miss you always. You were the best friend anyone could ask for and I will forever remember all of our talks and moments that we enjoyed so much when you opened your home and your heart to me. Until we meet again you just hold my place for me. I pray blessings over your family and wish them well. I love you Eileen and will always keep you in my thoughts.
