Faith A. White

CORTLAND – Faith A. White, age 72, entered into eternal life Sunday, May 25, 2025 at home, in the company of her loving family. She was born June 5, 1952 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Stanley and Donna (Ryhal) Yakubik. She graduated from Howland High School in 1970. A homemaker and devout Christian, Faith served as the organist for Glenn Christian Foundation Church for many years. She never met a person or an animal she didn't love, and was especially fond of horses, dogs and cats. She enjoyed horseback riding, serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and cherished her time with her handsome grandsons. Precious memories of Faith live on with her mother, Donna Yakubik of Kinsman; her beloved husband of fifty-two years, Darrell G. White, who she married June 23, 1973; two children, Michael Paul White (Maggie) of Highland, Texas and Melissa Ann White of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandsons: Darren and Chase Simmons, Tristian and Nathan White; and two brothers, David (Marlene) of Springhill, Florida and Thomas (Angela) Yakubik of Kinsman. Preceding her in death are her father, Stanley Yakubik, and her brother, Daniel Yakubik. Calling hours are 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday, May 30, 2025 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, where services will begin at 11:00 am Friday, with Pastor Stephen Sprague officiating. All who knew and loved Faith are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life. Interment will follow at Meadow Brook Memorial Park in Champion.
