Glenna R. Rulong

Glenna R. Rulong, 74, of Warren Ohio passed away on Wednesday December 4th 2024 at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was born December 15,1949 in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer A. Williams and the late Dorothy M. Markle Williams. Glenna was a 1968 graduate of Champion High School and attended Kent State University Trumbull Branch. Glenna was employed as a Pipe Fitter at General Motors Lordstown for over 30 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing puzzles of all kinds. In her younger days she enjoyed traveling, socializing with friends and most of all she enjoyed her family gatherings. Glenna was very quick witted, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She had a huge heart and a generous spirit and was loved by all who knew her. Her family mattered above all else and it showed in the closeness she felt for all of them. She is survived by her son Richard W. (Emmanuelle Greco) Rulong of Montreal, Quebec, two sisters Judy (Bill) Glay of Bristolville and Holly (Chuck) Yannucci of Southington, OH, and one brother Robert E. (Irene) Williams of Warren, OH. Also surviving are three nieces, Wendy (Chuck Patterson) Glay, who she was especially close to and in later years became her caregiver, Vicky Glay and her daughter Danielle of Orlando, FL and Leah Yannucci of Southington, OH. She had special relationships with her step grandson Mickael of Montreal, Quebec and her great nephew Christian Yannucci of Newton Falls, OH. She loved and was grateful for all of her family, neighbors (Rod & Kevin) and friends (especially her best friend Darlene Cavalier and her husband Pat). She was preceded in death by her nephew Jeremy Yannucci whom she loved dearly. In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours or service at this time. There will be a celebration of Glenna's life at a later date. Carl W. Hall is assisting with the arrangements for cremation.
