Gloria Norman Obituary

Gloria "Janie" (Dodd) Norman, age 77, of Ellsworth, OH passed quietly in the presence of her family on August 26, 2025. She joins the love of her life, Marvin W. Norman, in the presence of their Savior. She was born in Youngstown, OH on April 19, 1948, to Fred Leroy and Beatrice Dodd. Janie fell in love with Marvin, known as "Wirt", at age fourteen. They married on July 3, 1974, raised their children in Ellsworth township, and enjoyed a close relationship with their extended family. Janie was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and worked as a model, waitress, nurse aid, and in retail. Janie is survived by her children, John W. Norman of Lake Milton, Serita (Patrick) Diana of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Noah Diana of Struthers, Hailey (Tony Bothe) Diana-Bothe of Lima, Christian (Amelia) Roberts of Lisbon; great-grandson, Levi Roberts, as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Janie is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin W. Norman, and sister, Barbara (Robert) Talbert. Arrangements by Cremation & Service by Gary S Silvat Inc.
