James Dora Obituary

James Blair Dora, 62 of Sharon, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in his home. James was born on October 1, 1962, in Greenville, PA, and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. A man of many trades, he worked as a self-employed landscaper. He was very handy and found pleasure in wood burning and making jewelry, which he was so proud to share with family and friends. James was an avid collector of Spider-Man memorabilia. He also collected coins and stamps. He is survived by his longtime companion, whom he married on April 14, 2023, the former Delilah Rickard; a daughter, Shannon Lyons and her significant other, Trenten Brown, of Greenville; his mother, Edith Davis, of Mercer; three stepdaughters, Shawna Rowe and her husband, Gabriel, of Mercer, Jessica Spencer, of Sharon, and Alishia Powell, of Sharon; nine grandchildren, whom he was very dedicated to, Dallas and Skylar Lyons, Kendra and Maia Baumgardner, Jackson Rowe, Brooklyn Spencer, Hayden, Mae and Kira Powell; and two brothers, Harry Dora and his wife, Sammy, of Florida, and Matt Dora and his wife, Chris, of Mercer. James was preceded in death by his stepfather, Rudy Davis; a sister, Christina Dora; and three brothers, Dennis, Steve and Mike Dora. In keeping with James' wishes, there are no services.
