James Graycar Obituary

James J. Graycar, 88 CAMPBELL…James J. Graycar, 88 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Aventura at Assumption Village in North Lima, Ohio. James was born April 9, 1937 at his family home on 16th Street in Campbell, Ohio, a son of Joseph J. and Pavla K.( Shujansky) Graycar. He was a 1955 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a lifelong resident of the Campbell area. James married the former Dorothy Peterson in 1972 and they shared 32 years of marriage until her passing in 2004. James worked as a fork lift driver for 33 years until his retirement in 2000. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church. James enjoyed gardening and wood carving. He has also been panning for gold since 1979. James will be deeply missed and always remembered by his nieces, Anastasia McDermott, Gail Wilson and Jacalyn Wilson; great niece, Dawn Pat McDermott; nephew, Joseph Skip Ingorvate; and family friend, Patrick Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; brother, Robert F. Graycar; five sisters, Anastasia Buccilli, Agnes Ingorvate, Josephine Lewis, Pauline Graycar, Phyllis Markusic and his nephew, John Alan Markusic. James' care has been entrusted to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. Private services were held. James was laid to rest at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio.
