James Greer, Jr. Obituary

Warren – James Paul Greer Jr. 59' passed away Sunday afternoon, July 20, 2025, in St. Joseph Hospital. Jim was born July 31, 1965, in Akron, Ohio the son of James Paul Greer Sr. and the late Deloris (Awalt) Moore. He was a graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School, class of 1983. Jim was a Union Glazer with Warren Glass and Pane and later retired in 2021 from Imperial Glazing. He was a Christian by faith and a member of the Painter and Allied Trades Union, Local # 847 out of Youngstown since April of 2002. Jim leaves his father James Paul Greer Sr. and his stepmother (Kathy) of Frametown, WV, his longtime companion and partner, Lisa Morrison of Warren, two stepsons, Corey Austin and Aaron Carlisle both of Ravenna, two grandchildren, Anna Austin and Izzy Mansfield. Jim also leaves five siblings, Robin S Moore of Billings, MO, Edward (Tammy) Moore of Akron, Jason (Rebecca Bowers) Moore of Warren, April Meader of Frametown, WV and Cris (Jeff) Wagner of Vienna, with many nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his mother Deloris, his stepfather, Oscar Moore, and one brother, Wayne Greer. Following Jim's wishes there are no calling hours or services planned at this time. Thoughts & Prayers go out to Lisa , Corey , Uncle Jim and the rest of our family.
Out of body and with the lord, and may that comfort us as we continue to mourn our loss of Jimmy.
Distance kept us a part but so glad I got to spend a few days with you at your dads ,will never forget!
Rest is peace cuz.
Love ya!!!!!
