Jean Anne Korhely

Youngstown – Jean Anne Korhely, 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. Jean was born October 1, 1945, in Youngstown, the daughter of Michael and Maria Vincenza Pangio. Jean worked as a pharmacy technician for Village Pharmacy in New Middletown and Wilkinson Pharmacy. She was an active member of S.S. Cyril and Methodius Church. Jean was passionate about reading, going to the YMCA, watching old movies, and taking long walks in the park, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. Jean was caring, selfless, and her love of life and sense of humor were immeasurable. Jean's warm and vibrant personality affected everyone she ever met. It was impossible to have known her and not love her. Jean will always be remembered lovingly by her husband, Robert J. Korhely Sr., whom she married on May 11, 1968; two sons, Robert Joseph Jr. (Christina) Korhely, and John Angelo (Summer) Korhely; two grandchildren, Hunter and Peyton; and sister, Anita Palocyi. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Ward, and Theresa Aaron; and three brothers, Dan, Angelo, and Jay Pangio The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 25, 2025, from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue in Boardman, followed by funeral services at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will he held at 10 a.m. on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica in Youngstown, with the Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw J.C.L, VG presiding.
