Jeffrey Ayers Obituary

CORTLAND- Jeffrey L. Ayers, age 66 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Cortland Health Care Center. He was born in Warren, on November 26, 1957, a son of the late Dennis David and Wilma (Johnson) Ayers. Jeffrey attended Niles McKinley High School and worked a variety of jobs throughout his lifetime. Family always being the most important to him, he was the one who encouraged his siblings to get together for family gatherings. He was the type of man who would do anything for anyone and was quite talented as a singer and guitarist. He had a passion for wood carving and his claim to fame came when he was asked to carve a life size Mountaineer for a high school in Shinnston, West Virginia. Precious memories of Jeffrey live on with the family he cherished: two brothers Dennis L. Ayers of Niles, and John (Tami) Ayers of Lake City, Pennsylvania; sister Sandy (Thomas) Tomko of Warren, wife Carol Bumgartner-Ayers of Austintown and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Richard, Robert, Wayne, and George Ayers. Services will be private at the family's request. Arraignments are entrusted to Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Road NE, Warren Ohio 44483, 330-394-6200. Dedicated to Serving Your Loved Ones.
