Joseph Leroy Nice

Joseph Leroy Nice of Warren departed his life to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 16, 2024, at his residence. He was 62. Joseph was born January 1, 1962, in Clarksburg, WV, the son of the late Charles and Betty Nice. After graduating high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked in roofing and in his free time Joseph enjoyed playing cards and being outside. He was skilled at building bonfires and could spend hours surrounded by family and friends watching the flames. He is survived by his wife, Karena Nice, who he married on September 9, 2023, after being together for almost 30 years; 11 children, Kelly Dennison, Jesus Nice, Joseph Nice Jr., Austin Nice, April Stout, Candy Stalvey, Nancy Stout, Tiffany Grossbeck, Timothy Grossbeck, Frederick Barr II, and Brandon Barr; 5 brothers, Jack Nice, Michael Stout, Judd Todd, James Todd, and Scott Nice; 3 sisters, Wanda Cole, Mary (Charles) Williams Amos, and Lori Stout; and his best friend Rick Ozanich; and he will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, especially "fat butt". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, George Todd, Ed Todd, and Robert Nice; and 3 sisters, Sue Farr, Betty A. Nice, and Mary Nice.
