Josephine Williams Obituary

Josie P. Williams, 65, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening August 22, 2025. She was born March 17, 1960, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Ernest and Frances Dorante Sferra, Sr. Josie was a 1979 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and a devoted home maker. She enjoyed crocheting, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, playing bingo and especially spending time with her family. Josie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Raymond E. Williams, Jr., whom she married July 3, 1996, her daughter Harley (Kodie Houtz) Williams, brothers Bobby (Lynn) Sferra and Andrew Sferra and cats Leo, Chevy and Licorice. She is preceded in death by her brother Ernest "Buzzy" Sferra and Aunt Jennie Dorante. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a funeral service at 1 P.M. Josie will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. Material tributes can be made in Josie's memory to Angels for Animals, 4750 West South Range, Canfields, Ohio 44406 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J.
